Spring Awakening is a three-day electronic dance music festival

As Chicagoans our yearly nightmare is over.  That’s right, it’s been confirmed:  winter is (finally) over.  How should we celebrate?  That’s where Spring Awakening Music Festival comes in.  Spring Awakening is a three-day electronic dance music festival that will wake all of us up from a long winter and get you ready for the Summertime Chi.

Mark your calendars because Spring Awakening Music Festival takes place June 7th through 9th.

This year’s impressive line-up includes Grammy-award winning producer ZEDD, Martin Garrix (ranked number one on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list for three consecutive years), Two Friends, Yellow Claw, Zomboy as well as many, many others including some special guests.

The big news this year is that Spring Awakening has some new digs.  The 2019 edition of Spring Awakening Music Festival takes place at Poplar Creek at 59-90 Entertainment District in Hoffman Estates.  This location boasts 27 acres of land, nearly double that of last year’s site, allows for Spring Awakening to flex its muscles: more than 90 artists will perform across five unique stages, and will feature stunning stage production, interactive art installations, carnival rides, and much more.

Think getting there will be hard? No way.  Complimentary shuttles from nearby Metra stations to the festival grounds will be provided to fest and for the first time in SAMF history, the location will allow for festival parking on site.  Couldn’t be easier.

Spring Awakening is full of great music, wonderful sounds, vibrant colors, and positive energy.  It guarantees to bring the beat and beat back the winter doldrums.
